About the Expedition
Over the past two years Safari Pacific has been preparing to undertake our most ambitious adventure and build project yet,
driving around the world in a custom built truck. Plans for the journey originally started while on our last trip, Expedition
North America, and now has grown into a 27,000 mile trek across the globe. During planning we had hoped to hit every continent,
minus Antarctica. However, the reality of undertaking a project of that a scale all at once is simply not feasible for us
currently. With reality in check, we have broken the trip down into sections. Each section will be posted on our website with
its own specified page.
Our mission for the trip is to push beyond the typical travel locals and explore what the world and its people are really about.
We have created two alternate routes, both consisting of exciting locations, challenging environments and wonderful people.
Periodically, we will meet up with fellow travelers and local people to delve into the local scenes. The entire excursion will be
filmed in HD video and periodically we'll post videos and journals of where we've been. Departure is right around the corner and
excitement is building.
Our one of a kind expedition vehicle, the MX2, has been specially built and outfitted with the
necessary gear for the long journey. Modifications to the MX2 include adding thirty inches of
additional space onto the cab, installing an Adventure Trailers Flippac camper with composite storage drawers, dual batter system,
loading a National Luna fridge/freezer from Equipt Expedition Outfitters inside the cabin and tons more for the long journey ahead.

Special thanks goes out to; Mario Donovan and Martyn Davies of Adventure Trailers, Graham Jackson of Overland Training, Paul May of
Equipt Expedition Outfitters, Scott Brady of Overland Journal, Doug Hackney, Wil Kuhns, Tim Joseph and all those who have assisted
us in our preparation efforts. Thank you all very much!
